The trouble with writing about shit is that you have to face everything you don't want to face, and word nicely everything you don't even want to recognize as fact. If we ignore something in ourselves, could it just disappear? Or is it programmed to sit inside you, swelling up and doing cartwheels until you unlock its cell by pressing lifeless buttons to form word after word after word on a screen lit up through restless methamphetamine nights? Can our mistakes and misfortunes operate like energy conversions? Can ink rip the past out of a girl?
My name is not Kayla. You can call me Kayla. I enjoy summertime picnic and long walks on the beach, followed by an exercise in mass genocide and a full-scale riot for a cause I cannot pronouce. Some people may say I am an expert on cultural diversity, having grown up in the sixth dimension and dedicated a lifetime to conducting endless scientific experiemnts on multi-planetary breeding. However, "some people" are most likely insane... and quite likely the type to make their living selling videotapes of these breeding experiements "in action" to all the sick bastards sickbastarding around E-Bay. In the words of Jesus (Hey-zeus!) Christ our Savior--"We guard our cattle and thy neighbor's green pastures, sccaning the heavens for unholy invaders, but it is not land or bread that aliens doth cover. The alien invasion doth occurith in the Central Nervous System! Let's get 'em boys! My brain must be extra-popular with the extraterrestrials as a landing field (finally, a purpose in life!)... Bastards won't stop trying to abduct my psyche so some biology student on Venus can poke at it (bad karma, I suppose).... And this, Professor jibberjabbar, is the reason why my "severe case of chronic laziness" doesn't warant a doctor's note! Such alien agonies I am incalculably prone to... If Jesus jumped off a bridge, I'd be right there beside him with my parachute... Apparently Jesus was born in 4 AD. That's four years after his own birth. Just another one of the multitude of bad things that can happen when you put a bunch of dipshits in very powerful positions... I'm ugly on the inside to.... I'm never going to be anything.... What sick bastard said "it's better to have loved and lost than..."?
